BRIEF HISTORY

Pastor David Chapman and Maureen Chapman felt led approximately 25 years ago to start an Elim church in the Norbury area under the name of Croydon Community Church. The fellowship initially began as a satellite church to Kensington Temple and became independent a few years later.

The Church met at the Scout Hall in Norbury Crescent and flourished under their ministry. Pastor David Chapman retired in 2008 and was replaced by Pastor David Crabb. As Crystal Palace Football Club had much better premises, the church moved there for a year before moving to our present building in Woodville Road where the fellowship continued to be blessed.

Pastor David Crabb retired in May 2015 and Pastor Filden Adjei was appointed in March 2016.
